DP2 Noise filter
Two cascaded LC band-stop filters with a buffer remove a 1.68 kHz beep from an audio signal.
Result
- The beep was attenuated by 29.9 dB in the spectrum analysis.
- Measured resonance frequency 1664 Hz versus calculated 1680 Hz, a deviation of about 1 percent.
- Quality factor of about 1.1. The design was verified with both LTspice and Analog Discovery 2.
