Trompet ved Altaie
I started playing the trumpet at the age of four and have played as a soloist and in marching bands, wind bands and orchestras, including for the King and Queen. Since 2018 I have run Trompet ved Altaie, playing at funerals, weddings and church services.

From pocket trumpet to soloist
I started playing the trumpet when I was four, on a small pocket trumpet. I played at school concerts and at the municipal school of music and arts, and took part in local competitions. Along the way I have played in marching bands and wind bands, but mostly as a soloist.
Playing for the royal couple
As a teenager I was asked to play at the royal couple's garden party at Nordland Kultursenter in Bodø, during their visit marking 25 years on the throne. I played an entrance fanfare as they arrived, and entertained the guests afterwards. Before that I had played when the Crown Prince opened Meieriet kultursenter in Leknes.
Orchestra and stage
- Soloist with the Lofoten and Vesterålen orchestra association (LVO) three times, between the ages of 13 and 20
- Took part in a talent programme at UiT at 15
- Countless concerts and performances while growing up
Trompet ved Altaie and today
Trompet ved Altaie is my own business. I play at ceremonies where the music has to suit the mood, both solemn and festive occasions. Today I also play in two student society bands and jam with a friend.
